Changing Lives in Myanmar

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that shook Myanmar on March 28th of this year, tragically took the lives of over 5,000 people, tearing apart families that were already suffering from the current wars raging there.

Your prayers and financial support has enabled us to help thousands of desperate people, and continues to do so while many humanitarian organizations have already left.

We invite you to watch this short video, showing some of the help we have so far provided to these precious people.

Our co-workers in Myanmar have helped affected people with survival kits including food, water, shelter, and medicine. As always, the Gospel has been proclaimed as this aid was distributed, as we want to not only see people’s physical needs met but we want them to hear about God’s salvation through Jesus Christ for the first time in their lives. Our partners wrote:

“Everywhere we have gone, people are deeply grateful that someone came to help, listen, and to pray for them. We share the Good News and distribute New Testaments. We are now preparing to plant new fellowships to disciple believers and bring the light of Christ into some of the darkest places in Myanmar.”

Please continue to pray for the people of Myanmar, and if you would like to donate to help the ongoing earthquake relief work, you can do so by giving to our “Persecution & Relief Fund

Although the number of fatalities is uncertain right now, it has undoubtedly killed many thousands of people. One ministry we support sent a reassuring report that they were able to account for all their ministers living within the disaster zone. Tragically, however, entire house church fellowships perished in the flood, along with many of their family members.
