We thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the many prayers and generous donations received on behalf of the people of Nepal since the horrific April 25th earthquake.

With Your Support We Plan to Feed 2,000 People, Twice per Day.

Asia Harvest has committed to feed 2,000 homeless earthquake survivors for the next two weeks in the city of Bhaktapur. This is in conjunction with two churches in the city, who are expressing the love of Christ to the people in a wonderful way.

These 2,000 people have gathered on open fields, sheltering under tarps and sheets of plastic. Each simple meal (consisting of rice, lentils, sugar and other basic food) costs just $1.07 to buy and prepare. This doesn't sound like much, but for the two-week period feeding that many people will cost a total of $60,000. After two weeks the government says they will be in a better position to assist, but they greatly appreciate the vital help being provided by Christians now. It is literally a life and death situation for many of them.

Please pray for the 2,000 people we are privileged to be helping. Pray that when the time comes to rebuild their lives, many of them will build with Jesus Christ as their unshakable foundation.

Would you please consider helping the precious people of Nepal? A gift of $30 will feed one person for the next 14 days (two meals per day). A donation of $300 will help 10 people.

This is a wonderful opportunity not only to sustain these desperate people in their hour of great need, and in doing so we will be blessing the Lord Jesus who said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me...Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:35,40).

We guarantee that all donated funds will be sent directly to the relief efforts in Nepal. Nothing is taken out for administration or any other expense.
