Asia Harvest Annual Report 2014/15

Dear Friends,

We are thankful for the opportunity to share our Annual Report, detailing the help Asia Harvest was able to provide the Body of Christ throughout Asia in 2014.

It has been a great privilege to serve the Lord in Asia for another year, and we are blessed to be a link in a chain that has resulted in many people coming to know Him. Last year more than a million believers were strengthened in their faith after receiving God’s Word through our Bible projects, and the hundreds of Asian evangelists we support led thousands of people to faith in Christ among dozens of remote unreached people groups.

For more than 25 years our strategy has always been to operate with as few overhead expenses as possible, so that resources get to the hands of the frontline workers of God’s kingdom—the many Asian Christians we feel honored to assist and serve. We are thankful for each person who prayed for and supported our work last year. Without your vital partnership none of these things would have occurred.

Changing Lives in Myanmar

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that shook Myanmar on March 28th of this year, tragically took the lives of over 5,000 people, tearing apart families that were already suffering from the current wars raging there. Your prayers and financial support has enabled us to help thousands of desperate people, and continues to do so while many humanitarian organizations have already left. We invite you to watch this short video, showing some of the help we have so far provided to these precious people.

RESPONDING TO THE EMERGENCY IN MYANMAR

We are thankful for the many people who have been praying for the people groups of Myanmar as we work through our Operation Myanmar profiles. The recent massive 7.7 earthquake has added untold misery to the people of Myanmar. Estimates are that tens of thousands of people have been killed and up to 3 million have been displaced after their homes were destroyed. The epicenter of the quake was in the Sagaing Region next to Chin State, where many of our prayer requests for Chin and Tangshang tribes have been targeted in recent months. Hundreds of thousands of strong Christians live in these regions.
